Summer Livin In Paradise
Well, here we are in the heat of summer. Steamy and quiet best describe our August time but the boating is great now. It's quiet on the water and the fish are jumpin into the boats. It's amazing the work we have going on here considering we only opened in November. Our team are busy painting and fixing around the property while we continue to have a steady stream of vacationers for boat rentals.
The storage building is filling up fast now with about 65% of the racks occuppied. Our Platinum Concierge Service continues to please and our crew are getting great reviews from our customers for their attention to detail.
Rick O'Shea has recently taken on the position of Acting Service Manager and things have never been so good. Rick has brought his skills and experience to bear and our production has increased ten fold. Many customers have walked in with problems and our mechanics have been able to resolve the issues quickly.
Bayfront Bistro continues to delight with so many special dishes. Chef Marvin has a real creative flair and it has been acknowledged so may times in reviews and from customers. Check out Trip Advisor.com. Just search on Bayfront Bistro. 170 reviews!!
Last month Bayfront Bistro won 5 of 10 awards at Taste of The Beach. Thousands came out to sample dishes prepared by chefs from many of the restaurants in the area. Included was a Chef's Competition ion which BB won two of the three awards, Best Appetizer and Best Entree. A great job by Chef Marvin, Sous Chef Kevin and all the staff.
Plans are underway to introduce the Sushi Bar in October and tables are being added on the bridge to take care of the long wait we experienced last season. It will be a great season at the restaurant witht the new waterfont grond level bar and sushi and the wonderful new wine list that will be introduced shortly. Chef Marvin is gearing up with many new menu items as well.
